For Wisconsin

Folks, a bunch of your Wisconsin neighbors are joining together to make sure your voice is heard and your vote is counted. Through images, words, stories, songs and some surprise moments brought together by the Eaux Claires Festival, 88Nine Radio Milwaukee, Justin Vernon in a tore-up van, and you, the FOR WISCONSIN project is your chance to grow the vote, secure your vote, and build your future.

Free speech and freedom begin and end with voting. If you don’t mark your ballot someone else will define your Wisconsin and your future. Whatever your background, location, (or musical preferences!), the extended Eaux Claires family and 88Nine Radio Milwaukee invite you to join us and your neighbors to ‘visit’ about voting.

We chose that word ‘visit’ on purpose. As in shoot the breeze. Swap stories. This won’t be a one-way conversation. This isn’t about dropping in and telling you how to think. Or assuming we know what you think. Rather it’s about how to keep our neighbors in the conversation. How to visit together even if we can’t get together. How to lock in your vote EARLY. How to make sure your vote counts.

We can’t wait to visit…soon Justin will fire up that van and we’ll begin sharing online and in person. We hope you’ll share your story. Share the reasons you love this state. Share what you’d love this state to become.

And vote. Vote early.

Give us a follow–then lead us. For Wisconsin.

Let’s Break it Down

Over the course of the campaign we will be sharing content on our social media platforms and the Eaux Claires website—these posts will include many different actions to encourage and support voting. Key to success and central to the message: Act now; don’t wait until the last minute.
